Welcome to BAO Today

Bao Today was established in 2005 as a Dim Sum café with one intention – to introduce, if not popularize one of the traditional Chinese cuisine, the Bao (Bun) – alongside a variety of Dim Sum delights.

The origin behind Bao Today came about when Dr Jimi Tan, Founder of Bao Today, wanted to emphasise that the buns served in the outlets are all freshly made “today”. This is to bring out the Unique Selling Proposition of our products as fresh & handmade!

Our products are distributed from our own central kitchen in which tip-top authentic Hong Kong Dim Sum chefs are hired to create, innovate and always improving in our recipe. It is our assurance that the food items you taste in our outlets are as authentic as possible and of good quality. This is also how we maintain the food quality, portion sizes and taste.

Apart from just selling buns, Bao Today also offers a variety of dim sum items such as rice/noodles & congee! We very much keep our menu as satisfying for our customers so that we can keep them close to our hearts! As we always like to quote: 点心点到你开心
